The Badlands
Almost immediately after the homestead museum is the entrance to Badlands National Park. I drove through several miles of this incredible, otherworldly landscape. I'm sure I could have taken literally thousands of pics, as just about every hillside, vista or field has something of interest. In the end I more or less gave up photographing everything I saw, it would have taken me days. Trust me when I say: Go there.
If I were religious I'd say God enjoys building sandcastles. I'll just let the pics speak for themselves now. The whole set is here.
