Ukraine IX: Yet more Odessa

After the boat trip we had dinner - again slow in the making but very good and damn cheap. I went back to the hotel, to my lovely, upgraded room and the next day I started making my way home.

Some final images from Odessa...

I believe this was one of the Pushkin monuments:

The Potemkin Stairs and the "skyline" as seen from the harbor:

A Chernobyl monument:

The beaches were full of people.

The Black Sea. No, it's not really black, is it?

The city, as seen from the balcony of my (new) room:

The new room. Yes, it was nice - a twin bedroom and a small lounge room:

A functioning toilet and a clean shower... *sniffles* Janis Joplin knew it: You don't know what you've got till it's gone.
