Abe's BBQ is a place along Highway 61 (or slightly to the west of it, in Clarksdale proper) that's been in existence since 1924. I can report that it is still going strong, very strong. Astrid had chicken salad, while I stuffed face on a beef sandwich. (The food pics will come in a separate post). Abe's is right north of the huge crossroads sign mentioned in the previous post.
Astrid looking like Steve Wonder.
Old, old signs.
The interior is authentic southern.
In Clarksdale, I had the dessert before the dinner - I stuffed face with two donuts here, before discovering Abe's, just around the corner.
