I'd never heard of Javalina before, but apparently they're a distant cousin of the pigs and boars of Europe. They're much more aggressive than their European versions, and can not be domesticated. However, like pigs they are highly social and intelligent animals.
We caught these five guys snoring in the sun. Possibly it was a mother and four kids.
