Return to Caerlaverock

I first went to Caerlaverock Castle in late 2012, and nothing much had changed up there. The castle was still one of the castlest castles in all of Scotland, and that's saying something (if you're not quite sure what, rest assured I don't know what I'm writing half the time either).

Yep, the moat was still there.


The back wall still looks like somebody just decided that they needed a better view.


Personally, I think the white horsey is in dire need of a horn.


I still couldn't fit into the costumes they had in the annex. Sigh.
