This morning we started out at the Wick Heritage Center. Just like five years ago, it was run by little, old people and one of them even remembered me when I mentioned the mishap I'd had with the car (I put petrol on a diesel tank).
Still vast reservoirs of STUFF to see, and a renewed appreciation for the immense importance of the sea in terms of giving and taking life in these parts.
Siri, the latest Herring Queen.
The womenseses' department.
What's hanging?
An old classrooom.
How they made newspapers before the computer.
This paper cutter was actually called a guillotine.
The ruins of old Wick Castle. None of us could be bothered to get out of the car and walk up there.
