All together now: Aaaaawwwww!

The highlight of our visit to AWCC was the bottle feeding of the baby moose and musk oxen. The moose were 2-3 weeks old; some had been chased by dogs others had had their parents shot. The musk oxen were a few weeks older, I didn't quite catch their story. But they were all vewy, vewy cute.

All pics here.

The musk oxen were clearly the more social of the two. They were running around and interacting with the two wardens to a very different degree than the moose calves.

This little fella was not the brightest bulb. He was slow in making it down to the feeding area, because he spent a needless two minutes trying to stand up while also treading on his own leg...

They look cute together, but the moose don't really like the musk oxen and tend to keep to themselves whenever they can.
