Aight, my first proper entry of the USA roadtrip! I spent Saturday night in Silver City, New Mexico. It is an old mining community and the area is also famous for the Colfax County War and the Lincoln County War; the latter brought a certain Billy the Kid to fame and an early death.
The town has a few streets in the so called "historic downtown" area, on Broadway is the local Museum, which is quite a little gem, but sadly it has the same no-photo policy as most other local museums in the country. Only in federal institutions can one generally fire away at will... uh... with a camera, that is.
The Silver City Museum. Highly recommended.
The research building of the Museum.
Nice, quiet street.
Cool car.
