Mt Wilson

Took a little detour on my drive to Cowra from Katoomba today, and ended up in the tiny village of Mount Wilson. Again, as with everything I've seen in Oz so far, it's not spectacular. But in this case it's still damn nice. The weather today has been great, with sunshine, barely a cloud in the sky and cool, crisp autumn air. The colors were out in full force on the trees, this being early May, which corresponds to early November in the north. Have a look.

All Mt Wilson pics here.

The mountains. Not spectacular, but lovely just the same.

Someone had built a small cabin up in the trees.

It even looked like the telephone pole had sprouted leaves.
