Pierre State Capitol

The political part of my roundtrip continues, this time with pics from the State Capitol area in Pierre, South Dakota. All pics here.

It's better looking than the one in North Dakota.


There's a nice park surrounding much of the Capitol; it has some statues and memorials.


Dis be wat dey be salutin.


I don't think I've ever seen a memorial to fallen medical personell before. Makes me wonder if South Dakotans are in the habit of shooting at ambulances.
