Just as with their neighbors to the north, South Dakota has a Cultural Historic Heritage something something Center. Personally I didn't find it quite as interesting as the one in Bismarck, but that might be due to a lack of Norwegian stuff. South Dakota has a large share of Norwegians, but they're not quite crawling all over the place, like in North Dakota.
All pics here.
Around the center they have prairie, glorious prairie.
Inside you can try your hand at milking a robot cow.
Stuff, wonderful STUFF.
One of the few displays with Norwegians in it.
High school sports, particularly baseball, is a HUGE thing in South Dakota.
This, not so much.
