Sausage heaven... or hell?

Friday we stopped at a tiny sausage place in Oregon to stuff face for lunch. The little eatery had rave reviews on yelp and in addition to the great food, they had some funny articles, newspaper clippings and memorabilia on the walls. On the other hand, both Albie and I had upset stomachs Saturday morning or day, so maybe the sausages weren't good for us after all. We also had dinner at an Italian place called Girondas in Redding, and let me recommend their meat pizza (thin crust, small size).

Today we've stuffed our faces at Rio Grill in the little city of Clovis, just outside Fresno. You pay a flat rate of about $25, and you can then eat as much as you like - waiters are moving around the room with various types of meat, everything from spicy chicken to pork to pineapple - plus grab as much as you want from the buffet, which has rice, beef stroganoff and fried bananas among other things.

Soooo yummy. The sausage at Pepper Tree Sausage House in Albany, OR.
