Dolphins! Wheeeeee!

On the way out to Fort Sumter we were surrounded by several dolphins, and there were also lots of them playing around in the waters just off the fort itself. The little fuckers moved so fast that I have dozens of pics of clear water or the hint of a tail, but precious few where you can see anything of the actual animal.

Pics here.

We could hear snorting noises as they blew water out of their backs, like little whales.

The suspension bridge between Charleston and Mt Pleasant is an architectural beauty.

The USS Yorkstown lies at Patriot's Point on the Mt Pleasant side of the harbor. It is one of the world's largest maritime museums.
