Great Orme

I've been to Wales once before, in 2006. Back then I was still working, instead of being a man of leisure, and I was traveling with four colleagues. Our first port of call was Llandudno and our main attraction to see in Llanudno was the hill formation known as The Great Orme. The name is derived from the Vikings, for whom orme meant worm or snake.

Just like last time, I was almost blown off my feet up there. Actually it was even worse six years ago. Can't be described, must be experienced...

All pics.

Just down the road is an ancient copper mine. When the Romans came to grab what they could, this mine had already been closed for over 600 years...
