Monkey business

They had several types of monkeys at the Park, but the stars were definitely the lemurs. Especially the ring tailed ones were extremely cheeky and funny. There were several signs warning people NOT to feed the monkeys, because it could make them more aggressive towards humans and start fights. I strongly suggest you follow orders, as these animals are hyper enough as it is...

All pics here.

This stare clearly says "fuck off".

Disturbed in their peaceful slumber by their ring tailed cousins, who had no respect for anyone or anything.

Trying to go back to sleep, but showing teeth, just in case.

"In here, I'm just a number... nobody knows my name... let me ouuuuut!"

Flagrantly disrespecting other monkey species.

These little rascals were high and low, creating mischief wherever they went. It seemed to me that these ring tailed lemurs were by far the worst bandits of the show, and that the black and white and the red ones were much more relaxed.

Planning some more pranks.

Ah can drape mahself in mah tail.

Several of the ring tailed ones were running back and forth from their hut to the woods, creating havoc along the way; ducks and pigeons would scatter, and one of them nearly made me trip and fall. This black and white lemur hunkered down when things got too rowdy.

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeee! Take a five year old hyperactive child, give him unlimited quantities of sugar and let him loose in a toy store. That's your average ring tailed lemur.
