Ravenglass

Been driving around the lovely Lake District for a few hours. Narrow roads and broad vistas are the orders of the day. I made an hourlong stop in the tiny village of Ravenglass. It's the only village in the Lake District that sits on the coast, and it has the ruins of a Roman bath from almost 1,900 years ago. Three rivers also run out into the ocean here.

All pics here.

The road to the bath house ruins went through a wood exploding with autumn colors.
