After Pike's Market, we were picked up by Justin, an old colleague and friend of Siri's from her days working for the WHO in Geneva. He showed us around for the rest of the day, taking us to parks and restaurants and bars and generally being the perfect tourist guide.
The first place he took us to was Kerry Park. It's not a big park, but it has good views over downtown.
All pics here.
The Space Needle. I have now been to Seattle three times and not been up there.
Some music museum designed by a famous architect and financed in large part by Microsoft founder Paul Allen.
We were so lucky with the weather today. Not a hint of rain on a clear day, a rarity for Seattle.
You can see a ghostly outline of Mt Rainier in the background. One of the most spectacular mountains in the world, raising over 14,000 feet straight up from sea level.
