The petting zoo also held a wide selection of big cats, from Bengal tigers (regular AND white) via African lion to your homemade bobcat. Feast yer eyes:
All pics here.
White tiger. There are only a relative handful of these left in the world. They have a rare genetic condition which changes the coloring from the regular yellowish to white, but they are ordinary Bengal tigers.
The Bengal tiger with normal color. The biggest cats sure seem to spend a lot of time snoring.
The mountain lion/cougar/puma was prowling his cage, probably because the goats and the deer long ago had figured out that they were safe, and were parading back and forth outside the fence, only a few feet away.
Leopard. Here, kitty kitty.
African lioness snoring her little heart out.
*scratch, scratch*
Zzzzzzzzzzz.
The bobcat opened one eye, decided I had no food and immediately went back to sleep.
Dey so cuuute.
